Race fans will love learning about the history of Daytona Beach motorsports at this fun family attraction, located just outside Daytona International Speedway's fourth turn. This 50,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art, interactive motorsports attraction, offers both high-tech, hands-on excitement and a fascinating historical perspective. Guests can change tires in a timed pit stop competition at the NASCAR Winston Cup pit stop, computer design and video-test their own race cars, test their knowledge with trivia contests, "talk" to race car drivers (via video) and "call" the final laps of a famous race from the broadcast booth.
Watch a 70mm movie depicting race day at the Daytona 500. There is also a SEGA Speedway electronic entertainment center featuring several racing themed video games.
Permanent displays include a NASCAR Online interactive web site exhibit, an expanding mobile of Jeff Gordon's DuPont Chevrolet and Sir Malcolm Campbell's famous Bluebird V that set a land speed record in 1935.
